The Interpretation of Organizational Ontologies

What does it mean for an organization “to exist”? Building upon the philosophical notion of ontologies as theories existence, I outline a theory organizational ontology supported by premise that organizations contain implicit existential conventions provide their members with understanding what joint existence is. This study aims to answer two questions. First, constitutes ontology? Second, how can this be accessed and represented? Using methodology informed cultural interpretation, ground empirically in ethnographic fieldwork at not-for-profit devoted teaching math “left behind” children.
